Delete your account and family
You can delete your Star Stash account, and any family you look after, right here. You don't need the app. We'll email you a link first, so we know it's really you.
Would you like a copy of your family's information first? In the Star Stash app, go to Settings, then Account and data, then Share family data.
What gets deleted
- Your Star Stash sign-in: your email address and password.
- Each family you choose to delete, and everything in it: the children's profiles, their stars and star history, and the jobs, rewards and goals.
- Other grown-ups' access. If you delete a family, every grown-up in it loses access to it.
- Every phone and tablet paired to a deleted family is signed out. Children's tablets stop working and go back to the start. A device that is switched off or offline finds out when it next connects.
Deleting cannot be undone.
What we keep, and for how long
- Where we keep a backup, a copy can stay in it for up to 14 days. Google’s own systems clear their copies on their own schedule, which can take longer.
- We keep a short record that a deletion happened, for 12 months, in case a backup ever has to be restored. It has no email address, names or children's details.
Can't get into your email?
We can't check who you are without it, so we can't delete an account automatically. Write to starstash@qwilverly.co.uk and tell us what you can about the account. We reply within 30 days.
